On the first weekend in July, hundreds of professional and amateur cyclists come to Northwest Arkansas from around the world to compete for their share of a $50,000 prize purse over the course of three days of rowdy road racing in three of the region's most picturesque historic downtowns.

High speeds & close quarters on tight, technical courses make criteriums the ultimate family-friendly spectator event. That's why thousands of fans pack the sidelines to feel the wind rush past as the pack sprints for the win—or duck when a crash sends racers sprawling into the fences.

The Natural State Criterium Series offers something for everyone—professional and amateur road cyclists compete for huge cash payouts, local mountain bikers take part in a fun Fat Tire MTB Crit, kiddos duke it out in fun kids' races, and families descend on the town squares to watch the events and take part in the festivities.
